After many long months of searching, calling and e-mailing we found, what we felt was the perfect Havanese for us. The Breeder did all of the important heath tests, had two champion Havanese from a very well know line (Lynyear) and just happened to have a little show prospect female that when evaluated, got very high marks and was a just a few weeks from being ready to go to her forever home. We jumped for joy when we heard the news. Mandy was just perfect :-)

Mandy was Born January 9th 2004 in Jacksonville Florida to River Breeze Havanese.

Sharron Davis is the Breeder of our wonderful Baby girl and we are so thankful that she entrusted Mandy to us.

She was one of three girls in a litter of four.

We were blessed to have her enter our family when she
was 3 moths old. It was a very exciting day

Mandy's breeder made sure that we had everything we needed before she arrived. We spent weeks preparing and puppy proofing our home for the day she came to be a permanent part of our family. we found the perfect Havanese to warm our harts. With waiting so long for our bundle of furry love, the anticipation was almost unbearable for the whole family.

We had planed on venturing out to the dog show world and started training at a well known handling class in hopes of becoming an acceptable handler for our Mandy. It proved to be a lot harder than it looked and yes, we did drop the lead a time or two <grin> But in the end, the whole family has been in the show ring, Mandy has received Best of Bread, a 5pt Major, completed her championship all with us in the ring with her and we have made many wonderful long lasting friendships.

Mandy's Best friend is our house cat Lady. They have no idea that they are not the same species, they play, eat and snuggle together.

Mandy delights us everyday with her antics she exhibits the Clownish Happy Havanese personality. Knows many tricks and loves to entertain us.
Favorite game: "look but don't touch"
Has grown up to fit the Havanese standard to a tee and has a fantastic personality. The careful planning done by Mandy's breeder and her breeder before shines through in our little Mandalay bay.
Mandy has proved to be the perfect show dog in the ring and most importantly the most perfect pet for our family.
